Reporting directly to the Vice President/Assistant Controller, this role will have a specific focus on overseeing the order-to-cash functions, including billing, accounts receivable, and cash applications.Key Responsibilities:Financial Oversight and ComplianceManage the general ledger and support the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting functionsEnsure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal policiesERP Implementation and IntegrationLead the implementation of the NetSuite ERP system, ensuring a seamless transition from the legacy systemOversee the end-to-end accounting for acquired subsidiaries during the integration processProcess Improvement and AutomationEstablish and maintain efficient accounting processes, controls, and policies, documented in standard operating proceduresImplement automation and streamline financial consolidation for multiple entities to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsAccounting Team LeadershipLead and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionalsProvide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to support the team's growth and developmentStrategic CollaborationPartner with the Assistant Controller, CFO, and other senior management on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysisCoordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to provide timely and accurate informationProject ManagementManage and execute various accounting projects and initiatives, such as acquisitions, integrations, and system enhancementsPotential for Nearshore/Offshore Team ManagementOversee and manage the performance of a nearshore/offshore function, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge transferDevelop and implement strategies to optimize the offshore team's productivity and efficiencyProvide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to the offshore team membersQualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field CPA requiredAt least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleSpanish speaking requiredExperience with NetSuite ERP system implementation and migration is requiredStrong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standardsExperience with consolidation, intercompany transactions, and multi-currency accountingExperience with accounting for acquisitions, mergers, and integrationsExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelBenefitsWe’re committed to supporting your ultimate well-being through our total compensation package offerings that support your health, wealth and self. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $142,000 - $190,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
