Currently looking for a skilled individual for a temp-to-hire hire Brazer opening with a company located in Eden Prairie, MN. Interested candidates should have welding and or soldering experience.

Brazer Job Description:

• Sandblast elements using sandblasting machines.
• Clean elements using buffing wheels and metal/brass brushes.
• Preassemble parts before brazing using fixtures and verifying dimensions using calipers.
• References prints and work instructions to determine the appropriate materials and resources to follow the proscribed process.
• Apply flux, melts, and applies solder along adjoining edges of work pieces to solder joints, using soldering irons or brazing torches.
• Examines brazed/welded sections for defects and performs necessary rework of bad joints, broken parts, or leaks. Cleans work piece and inspects, tests, and adjusts completed units to ensure that unit meets specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements using rulers, micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Performs minor machine maintenance and preventative checklist.
• Demonstrate consistent commitment to quality and possess exceptional attention to detail.
• Maintains clean and efficient workspace.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Brazer Job Requirement:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 1-2 years’ welding/soldering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Must be able to interpret and work from prints, work orders, specifications, and verbal direction.
• Strong time management skills and organization skills. Able to work collaboratively and/or independently.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to use a variety of torches, hand tools, and power tools safely.
• Must know how to use measuring tools including tape measure, calipers, gages, etc.

Compensation for Brazer:

The starting salary for the Brazer position is $18.00-$20.00 per hour.
