Montessori Academy, part of the Spring Education Group family of schools, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Principal to support the Principal in the operation of the school.

Responsibilities:

This role assists the Principal in the delivery of a high-quality instructional program and overall operation of the school including curriculum implementation in classrooms, staff training and development, student enrollment, parent and community relations, staff supervision and evaluation of approved curriculum and professional development, profit and loss management, and facility management. An ideal candidate will be a certified, experienced educator and administrator who is well-versed in 21st-century instructional practices and who possesses a strong commitment to the education of children.

 

Employment Status: Full-Time
Duration: Year-round (12 months), Monday - Friday
Location: 1400 Park Lane. Eagle, Idaho

The Essentials...

  • Must successfully clear criminal background without exemption.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a minimum of a high school diploma.
  • AA or BA preferred.
  • Must be comfortable supporting in the classroom as needed with ages 2 years old through Elementary. 
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and proficiency with technology 
  • Staff management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through. 
  • Possesses time management and organizational skills
  • Possesses basic math skills.
  • Complies with all state education and licensing standards and maintains validation of credentials for the position (i.e. professional development).
