This position is on-site at the Washington Navy Yard. What you'll do: * Coordinate and support day to day office activities * Identify issues, create resolutions within established guidelines, and communicate risk to the PM and DPM as appropriate and necessary * Manage executive calendars, monitor official correspondence, and complete expense reports
* Create and update SOPs for common administrative functions
* Coordinate events and meetings * Maintain and update data repositories * Provide desktop publishing services * Maintain responsibility for organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling meetings, calendars, and deadlines for the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager, including utilizing independent judgement to delegate meetings to other team members as appropriate
* Perform a variety of complex and routine administrative and secretarial duties with minimal supervision in compliance with written and oral guidance and policies * Execute independent decisions within established guidelines * Organize travel schedules * Manage office resources to keep productivity high
* Assist executives in prioritizing daily workload and adjusting for revised priorities * Prepare meeting materials * Maintain continuity of office in the executive's absence
* Leverage network and resources to accomplish objectives effectively, participate in or lead team initiatives, as needed, and take initiative to improve operations and office best practices within established guidelines
* Act as lead to other administrative staff Qualifications: * Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Calendar Management, and SharePoint
* Knowledge of military protocol and correspondence
* Prior experience onboarding employees
* Advanced MS Office skills, including Teams
* BA or BS degree and 2 years of directly related experience, or Associates and 4+ years directly related experience, or High School diploma and 7+ years directly related experience
* Ability to collaborate, interface and communicate with client staff
* Possess an inquisitive attitude
* Flexibility to think on your feet
* Ability to prioritize deliverables
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
* ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance required
