In this full time, direct hire, salaried position you will support the Modeling & Simulation Contract - Framework in the development of programs using C++, Java or similar programs Responsibilities * Develop programs using C++, Java, or similar languages
* Create and run unit tests
* Develop software documentation
* Create and manage automated software builds and pipelines in a CI/CD environment
* Collaborate with stakeholders and government customers
* Work within an Agile team environment (Program Increment Planning, Iteration Planning, Feature and Story development, Sprint Planning, and Iteration Retrospectives)
* Participate in team and program Sprint review demos Qualifications: * Active Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
* Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience, OR Master's degree in a related discipline with 3 years of professional experience, OR PhD or JD in a related discipline (no experience required)
* Proficiency in C++
* Experience with GitLab/Git for software configuration management
* Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS
* Network programming skills (message generation, formatting, UDP and TCP/IP interfaces)
* Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework
* Agile Scrum experience
* Java and user interface development experience
* Experience with Jira or similar issue tracking and agile project management tools
* Multi-core and multi-threaded programming skills
