Assembler Chelmsford, MA Contract Position Pay: $32-$37.31/hr Support the largest defense contractors in their Missile and Fire Control program as an Assembler, working on highly complex microwave assemblies for mission-critical defense and aerospace systems. Responsibilities: * Install connectors, substrates, components, and modules in complex microwave assemblies using paste and sheet epoxies.
* Perform fabrication and modifications on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies.
* Conduct surface mount, fine pitch, and through-hole soldering.
* Attach wires to load cell tabs by following schematics or wiring diagrams.
* Use miniaturized tools such as tweezers, fine screwdrivers, and soldering irons to achieve precise assembly.
* Maintain high quality and output standards while adhering to established procedures and specifications. Qualifications: * High School Diploma required.
* Active J-STD-001 Certification required.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
* Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly.
* Ability to work up to 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and soldering irons.
* Ability to read and follow detailed process sheets and drawings.
* Basic computer skills for accessing drawings and work instructions. Desired Skills: * Familiarity working in ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) controlled environments.
* Experience in mechanical assembly processes for small electronic devices.
