Senior Quality Engineer Greensboro, NC Contract Position Quality Engineer job in Greensboro, North Carolina is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace/Defense company. In this job you will apply quality functions in one or more production shops, design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products. To qualify for this job you must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Security clearance. Responsibilities: * Design, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products.
* Review Documents/Drawings/Instructions for conformance to requirements
* Verify compliance to defined requirements, perform audits, assign corrective action, and verify implementation
* Collect, organize and analyze project data, generates and reviews metrics
* Perform analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend changes to quality standards and procedures * Witness and monitor test activities
* Provide resolution to problems of moderate scope
* Compares defects against standards, recommend dispositions, and verify implementation of rework
* Participate in project reviews and meetings including technical design reviews and peer reviews
* Work as an individual technical contributor on one or multiple projects; interfacing with various engineering disciplines, manufacturing, program management, and other quality personnel Qualifications: * United States citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Security clearance. * Bachelor's degree in STEM and 2+ years of job related experience or a Master's degree
* Production manufacturing quality engineering experince reviewing documents, drawings and instructions for conformance to requirements
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001ASME, ANSI, EIA, etc.
* Strong engineering methodologies and use of relevant inspection/measurement tools and techniques
* Ability to read, reviewing and interpreting enigneering drawings, documents, and instructions for comformance to quality requirements
* Experiene communicating and reporting quality issues, findings, impacts and corrective actions in writing and verbally
