DESKTOP APPLICATION DEVELOPER

A premier manufacturing organization is looking to add a Desktop Developer in the their Chicago office for a 2 day hybrid model. They pride themselves on providing their clients with a positive experience by increasing their productivity, new market opportunities and bottom line profitability.

You would be joining their advanced software development group to add features to their flagship software application that allows customers do 3D modeling, and fabrication software. You will be interfacing the structural engineering side and the machine that produce the product. You will be a strong fit if you have experience in Winforms, C#, Visual Basic and .Net Framework.
Required Skills & Experience

• Support and develop software in C#, WinForms/WPF, Visual Studio
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with a distributed, global team environment
• Experience with 3D CAD/CAM software, machining, and/or 3D engines a plus
• Experience developing for embedded systems and controllers
• Expertise with multiple OSes, scripting, and test frameworks
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skill
• Familiarity with C++, Python, or other languages a plus
