Mount Indie is looking for an amazingly talented Radar Modeling & Simulation Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to utilize strong critical thinking and problem solving skills and will interface verbally and in writing with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Prime Contractor. What You'll Be Doing: •Provide Modeling and Simulation Engineering support for the development of a ground based, Missile Defense radar •Develop requisite materials and support the Modeling and Simulation Engineering IPT. Materials include system design and development efforts, test planning, test support, data analyses and reporting •Support the Modeling and Simulation system accreditation •Maintain Modeling and Simulation baseline configuration that aligns with the tactical system configuration build plans and identify Modeling and Simulation capabilities and limitations •Address technical issues, ensure contractor requirements are met, and resolve engineering issues across multiple projects, programs and MDA directorates •Analyze complex data, arrive at logical conclusions, and make recommendations •Develop and review technical memorandums, white papers, and briefings supporting findings and conclusions of analyses •Coordinate with leadership and the contractor team on Modeling and Simulation data rights issues •Deliver briefings on product plans and results to the Modeling and Simulation team, Test communities, and Leadership •Develop and present technical briefings and reports to Senior Leadership •Effectively communicate both orally and in writing What Required Skills You'll Bring: •7+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project •BS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math •Knowledge and application of phased array radar theory, function, and design •Secret Clearance or higher required What Desired Skills You'll Bring: •3+ years experience with Radar Modeling and Simulation Frameworks •Experience with Modeling and Simulation verification and validation •Works independently, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems within a fast-paced, dynamic environment •Experience with Program Management •Experience implementing systems engineering V processes •Ability to self-manage and initiate within team structure •Ability to work across organizational boundaries •Ability presenting complex information and concepts to Leaders at various levels •Proficient with Microsoft Office® applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) •Working knowledge of MDA Change Management Process •Working knowledge of MDA Systems Engineering processes and procedures •Working knowledge of MDA organizational structure •Working knowledge of Missile Defense System (MDS) architecture and concepts
