Job Description Summary
The Registered Outpatient Electroencephalography (EEG) Technologist III of the Clinial Neuorphysiology Services Department reports to the Outpatient EEG Coordinator. Under general supervision, the Registered Outpatient EEG Technologist III records, by means of electronic equipment, neurophysiologic potentials for the diagnosis and prognosis of diseases and conditions involving the nervous system. This position demonstrates competence and works under indirect supervision (EEG Coordinator, EEG Specialist or physician must be immediately available for assistance during all procedures).Entity

One year EEG Technician work experience required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
