Qualifications you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, communications or related field, or equivalent combination of education & related experience.
- The availability to work full-time, virtual and travel (must have a valid driver's license and vehicle)
- Experience in a Medicare Managed care setting
- Medicare Sales preferred
- Demonstrated mastery of consultative sales process via successful sales track record
- Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills including public speaking
- Curiosity to foster innovation and pave the way for growth
- Humility to play as a team
- Commitment to being the difference for our customers in every interaction
Your key responsibilities:
- Conduct all phases of selling including identify, qualify and meet with prospective clients for purposes of presenting Medicare Advantage (MA) products and services to meet company and individual enrollment goals
- Assure understanding level of each enrollee by providing clear, complete and accurate information regarding the MA products, managed care, and MVP policies
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with senior organizations, community contacts, etc. within assigned territory
- Give group and individual sales presentations, meeting company and Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services sales and marketing guidelines
- Generate leads and referral sales
- Create and maintain individual prospect database files including information regarding name, address, phone number and other important data
- Complete internal management reports as requested
- Present member orientations
- NY LAH Health Insurance license is required within 4 week training period prior to selling.
- Valid driver's license and access to vehicle for frequent travel within assigned territory.
