In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives that drive operational efficiency, innovation, and growth. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, technical acumen, and leadership capabilities to optimize processes, manage complex projects, and align the Technology and Product organization with MX’s near and long-term goals.Job DutiesStrategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement the strategic vision for the technology and product teams. Develop long-term strategies to achieve business objectives, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and scalability.Operational Excellence: Lead the design and implementation of operational processes and frameworks that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve service for internal and external customers. Identify and mitigate potential risks.Capacity Planning: Analyze current and future resource requirements to ensure the technology and product teams can meet operational and strategic demands. Develop and implement capacity plans to optimize resource allocation and manage workload effectively.Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of critical technology projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Utilize project management methodologies to drive successful outcomes.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and executive leadership. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.Strategic Portfolio Management: Align cross-functional technology and product teams on near and long-term strategic goals, create strategic roadmaps, determine evaluation criteria, and monitor performance.Capacity planning: Partner with engineering leaders to forecast demand for programs and initiatives and ensure capacity is correctly allocated to achieve business goals.Strategy Orchestration: Coordinate and align with technology and product leaders on strategy and its relation to broader company objectives and goals.Performance and Risk Management: Ensure strategic initiatives within the Technology & Product organization are performing against set metrics, risks are identified and mitigated, and established processes are followed.Organizational Communication: Effectively communicate and drive key decisions throughout the organization. Ensure transparency, clarity, and alignment on strategic choices, fostering a culture of informed decision-making and accountability. OKR Planning and Management: Own and drive the end-to-end Product and Technology Objectives and Key Results (OKR) process, including the alignment of OKRs to the strategy, monthly tracking, and reporting, as well as annual and semi-annual refresh cadences. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of strategy, progress to goals, risks, trade-offs, and accomplishments to stakeholders. Implement dashboards as needed to facilitate reporting.Job RequirementsExperience:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience8+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, or a related field within the technology sector is preferredProven track record of successfully implementing and managing complex projects and driving strategic initiatives within a technology or product organization.Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets while contemplating strategic goals and long-term plans.
