In this role, you will leverage your extensive background in ServiceNow to design, develop, and configure complex custom applications, ensuring they are scalable and maintainable. You will be actively involved in all stages of agile development, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, and you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions that optimize business processes. This position also involves performing platform administration, maintaining and troubleshooting existing applications, and providing expert guidance on platform best practices. Ideal candidates will have a strong track record of leading development efforts on the ServiceNow platform, advanced certifications, and a deep proficiency in pro-code development.Job DutiesLead and actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Design, develop, and configure custom applications and enhancements on the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on maintainability and scalability.Perform platform administration activities such as instance upgrades, cloning, and system health monitoring.Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications and modules, proactively addressing issues to ensure platform reliability.Develop custom integrations with external systems using REST, GraphQL, and other relevant technologies.Provide expert-level support and guidance to stakeholders on platform functionality, best practices, and strategic use of ServiceNow.Mentor and train junior developers, sharing your extensive knowledge of ServiceNow development and agile practices.Basic RequirementsServiceNow Certified System Administrator.8+ years of ServiceNow development experience, especially in modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, WSD, and CSM.Proficiency in JavaScript, with demonstrable experience using ServiceNow APIs and creating custom integrations.Experience working in an agile development environment, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.Advanced Requirements (preferred but not required)ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.ITIL v3 Foundation Certification.Extensive experience in developing Service Portal widgets using AngularJS.Experience with custom integrations, including REST and GraphQL APIs.Proven track record of developing maintainable, pro-code solutions in complex environments.CompensationThe expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $150,000 to $185,000. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package.
