Description: NSI requires a Part Time Quality Assurance Manager/MRQ to support the Jacksonville AS9120 Operations. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for:
• Responsible for the quality control and safety programs within the organization.
• Lead the maintenance, development, and continual improvement of the site's management systems to meet ISO9001 and AS9120 requirements.
• Lead the overall improvement of our quality programs to improve product quality, eliminate customer complaints, oversee supplier management, and manage the effective deployment of our management systems into the organization.
• Lead the supplier management and training process as well as playing a lead role in engaging the technical and supervisory team in proper use of nonconformance review, corrective and preventative action, and root cause analyses.
• Maintain any quality procedures, manuals, and processes used in ISO9001 and AS9120 processes.
• Coordinate, manage, and perform ISO9001 and AS9120 internal and external audits and recertification audits. • Ensure all safety programs and procedures are adequate and used effectively.
• Manage and track all Corporate required training as well as any site-specific required training.
• Assist technical and supervisory team in other areas as needed.
• Develop quality processes as required.
• Report any quality discrepancies or issues to management.
• Provide necessary coaching and training for the site in quality management systems.
• Ensure compliance to ISO 9001 and AS9120 and obtain other certifications as business requires.
• Leverage ISO 9001 to drive continuous improvement of products, processes, and systems. Promote the Quality policy, objectives, management reviews and measure the effectiveness of the system.
• Coordinate with corporate headquarters in the administration and annual recertifications of its ISO 9001 Quality Management Location: Jacksonville, FL Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: • Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality assurance, quality control, quality management under ISO9001/AS9120 or equivalent.
• Qualified as an internal auditor for ISO9001/AS9100/AS9100/AS9110/AS9120.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient in MS Office programs such as Word, POWERPOINT, and EXCEL. Proficient in use of PDF documents.
• Experience with aerospace and defense industry preferred.
