What we offer:
- Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour based on education and experience
- Consistent Pay: Same hourly rate for all work, with no differentiation between billable and non-billable hours, and no reductions for student cancellations
- Schedule: 35 to 40 Hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (No nights, No weekends)

- Assist the lead teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide support in the classroom by helping students with their academic tasks, including literacy and math activities.
- Assist students with self-help skills, including toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene, to promote independence.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers to help adjust teaching strategies, as necessary.
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A genuine passion for working with children, along with patience and compassion
- Associate or bachelor's degree in psychology or related field
- Experience working with children with special needs or autism through volunteer work, employment, or other relevant experiences
