Key Responsibilities:Leadership & ManagementOversee the Compliance department, providing strategic direction and leadership.Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures that align with EverBright’s mission and regulatory requirements.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of compliance professionals. Report directly to the President of EverBright and collaborate with other senior leadership to influence company-wide compliance culture.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulationsMonitor changes in laws and regulations that might affect the organization.Implement and oversee new regulations and changes to existing regulations.Coordinate with various departments to ensure integrated compliance efforts.Risk Management, Internal Controls & AuditIdentify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.Develop and implement corrective action plans to resolve problematic issues.Coordinate activities related to internal and external audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards.Ensure the effectiveness of EverBright's internal controls, improving processes and systems as necessary.Prepare and present reports to senior management regarding compliance activities and emerging issues.Maintain accurate and detailed records of compliance activities and findings.Training & CommunicationDevelop educational materials and conduct training sessions for staff on compliance-related topics.Foster a culture of compliance through effective communication and training programsPreferred Qualifications:12+ years of experience in compliance or related fields, with 6+ years in a leadership role.Experience in consumer finance and/or residential solar highly desired.Job OverviewThis position directs, manages, performs and coordinates team activities related to internal and external audits of NextEra functional entities to ensure compliance with enforceable standards and resolution of any non-compliance issues. Employees in this position assist business units in the preparation and submittal of documents required for compliance, and in legal proceedings relating to compliance issues.Job Duties & Responsibilities•  Interacts with compliance managers, regulatory groups and other personnel internally and at the regional and national level to build relationships, address compliance issues, develop advocacy plans and resolve problems
•  Participates in groups related to operations and compliance such as drafting teams, working groups, and task forces to ensure issues and positions are adequately represented and taken into account
•  Analyzes and communicates the impact of key regulatory issues related to strategic business goals and potential market impacts
•  Monitors standard approval processes at the applicable regional, federal and national level and participate in workshop panels and submit comments as required
