Our collaborative cyber test and training teams define one-of-kind tailored solutions to the cyber warfighter and deliver results to increase the cyber resiliency of our nation’s weapon systems. Cyber Support Operations is seeking a Range Operations Staffer with flexible skillsets who enjoys learning new technologies to join its cyber range team. Range Operations Staffers are responsible for day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and upkeep of hardware and software systems. The Systems specialty will focus on system configuration, health, and sanitization. Responsibilities include:
• Coordination with the various Event Staff members to schedule operations that do not intrude on other concurrent activities while meeting customer needs
• Follow security procedures to maintain backups, logs, and checklists that verify system operation and confirm compliance with classification requirements
• Regularly communicate range status, risks and recovery plans to management
• Coordinate with security to confirm the status of event-related equipment, classified material, and other media. Verifying post-event sanitization and archival, and supporting the services necessary to destroy and document the destruction of classified material. Basic Qualifications
The candidate must have extensive knowledge and/or direct experience in the following:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education and 5+ years of related engineering experience with proven engineering leadership. • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• TS/SCI clearance • Willingness to travel to customer sites; approximately 10% travel.
• Experienced with test ranges/facilities
• Understanding and appropriate experience with hardware systems’ configuration and installation (e.g., chassis install, rack mounting, RAM replacement, BIOS battery handling)
• Working knowledge of hardware systems interconnectivity ports and protocols, including USB, ethernet cabling, fiber cabling, and similar systems
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux systems from a system administrator viewpoint, including related systems, e.g., SELinux, ACLs, Sudoers, Services configuration. Desired Skills

• Working knowledge of cyber concepts, penetration testing methods, vulnerabilities, information assurance, and security methodology
• Scripting experience
• DT&E and OT&E experience
