**Scheduling:**
* Assist nurse manager in schedule preparation, taking into account all time off requests
* Communicates with the charge nurses on a daily basis to review for appropriate number of staff based on patient population and skill mix, and assist calling in staff as needed.
**Time Card Responsibilities:**
* Assists nurse manager in review and appropriate completion.
**Clerical Assistance:**
* Assist nurse manager in preparing, sending and receiving all Excel feedback forms and coordinates annual performance reviews.
**Records:**
* Maintains unit(s) staffing data.
* Records minutes and completes reports for the committee and staff meetings as requested by the nurse manager.
* Organizes and maintains unit(s) files.
**Customer Service:**
* Reports patient/family/physician feedback and keeps nurse manager aware.
**Communication:**
* Communicates effectively with staff regarding schedule concerns and promotes customer relations among staff and other disciplines.
**Requirements:**
* Prior clerical experience in office practice skills
* PC experience - Word Perfect
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
