The Federal Capture Manager will be responsible for leading and managing capture activities for federal government opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the federal procurement process, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive successful capture strategies to secure new business. Key Responsibilities: * Capture Management: * Lead the capture process for federal opportunities from identification through proposal submission. * Develop and execute comprehensive capture plans, including win strategies, competitive analysis, teaming strategies, and pricing strategies. * Manage the capture budget and resources effectively. * Market Research and Analysis: * Conduct thorough market research to identify and qualify federal business opportunities. * Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to inform capture strategies. * Proposal Development: * Collaborate with proposal managers and technical teams to develop winning proposals. * Ensure proposals are compliant with federal requirements and effectively communicate the value proposition. * Review and approve proposal content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with capture strategy. * Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: * Build and maintain strong relationships with federal customers, partners, and stakeholders. * Engage with key decision-makers and influencers to understand their needs and position the company as a trusted partner. * Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings. * Team Leadership: * Lead and mentor capture and proposal teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. * Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful capture and proposal efforts. * Reporting and Metrics: * Track and report on capture activities, win rates, and other key performance metrics. * Provide regular updates to senior management on capture progress and outcomes. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in federal capture management and business development.
* Proven track record of winning federal contracts and managing capture efforts.
* Strong understanding of the federal procurement process, including FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations.
* Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Strong leadership and team-building skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and capture management tools (e.g., Salesforce, GovWin).
Preferred Qualifications: * Expertise in working with EzGovOpps (or GovWin)
* DLA agency experience
