Learn more about our site here: This position is for an Associate Configuration Analyst with broad interests whose expertise can be applied to the development of cutting-edge military programs. Responsibilities include: • Assist in the implementation of program Configuration Management plans, procedures, and work instructions Assist in the maintenance of product configuration baselines • Assist in build and release management functions • Assist in the management of configuration change documentation describing baselined hardware and drawings • Assist in the verification of hardware against configuration as-built technical procedures and drawings • Interface with customers to address CM/DM issues and to detect, prevent and/or minimize the impact of quality escapes to delivered product • Support the conduct of product and process evaluations in accordance with customer and corporate requirements for AS9100 compliant processes • Assist in life cycle Configuration Status Accounting • Maintain databases for tracking Engineering Change Requests and Configuration Control Board activities • Participate in process improvement activities; contribute suggestions for adapting policy to situations and update processes and procedures as required • Assist with implementation of Data Management Plan, procedures, and work instructions • Coordinate, track and deliver contractual and non-contractual data for multiple programs • Assist in writing of technical and nontechnical documentation for program deliverables as needed • Maintain databases for tracking deliverables and non-deliverables • Create working templates to ensure all deliverables and program documentation are consistent and properly marked • Interface with various functional organizations to ensure Configuration and Data Management requirements and expectations are understood and accomplished • Assist in flowing down requirements to suppliers for purchased product. Basic Qualifications: • Must have Bachelor's Degree • Proficiency in Microsoft Products and prior use of specialized software (PLM, ERP, etc.) • Ability to work as part of a team to support accomplishment of team goals • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree in a STEM field • Working knowledge of MIL-HDBK-61 (Configuration Management Guidance) • Working knowledge of DoD Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) • Experience working with Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) • AS9100 / ISO 9000 experience
Salary Range: $51,400 - $77,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
