We’re Looking For:
A permanent full time detailer to work as part of a production team. Detailers are responsible for completing OPENLANE's five-step reconditioning process on vehicles assigned through OPENLANE's Vehicle Logistic Centers.
You will:
Prepare vehicles for the auction by completing the reconditioning process as per company procedures & customer service level agreements
Complete a variety of vehicle detailing stations including interior detailing, upholstery cleaning, dressing vinyl, removing tar and decals, vacuuming and shampooing interior, window cleaning, pre-wash, buffer, and quality control.
May be assigned to photograph/stage vehicles post-detail
May be responsible to inspect the quality of work performed prior to moving vehicle to next stage of reconditioning process
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Maintain good operating condition of equipment and facilities, advising management of equipment breakdowns or maintenance needs
Practice and promote teamwork within the department
Work within established company safety procedures and guidelines to ensure safety and security for employees and property
Follow safe working procedures and reporting procedures for injuries, loss or damage of property
Other duties as assigned
Must Haves:
High School education (or equivalent) preferred
Valid Driver’s License required
Satisfactory drivers' abstract & criminal record check required
Ability to drive a standard transmission preferred
Basic computer & smartphone skills required
Nice to Haves:
1-3 years’ experience in automotive detailing
