The successful candidate will drive value by diving into the economic fundamentals of our business - supporting Portfolio Management, the annual planning and budgeting process, mid-term P&L development, and more to ensure OPH is set up for long-term success.

The Associate Director, Financial Strategy & Operations possesses a powerful combination of strong financial acumen and highly strategic mindset and will support OPH leadership's efforts to build out a long-term roadmap. This individual will work in a highly collaborative manner and ensure that company decisions around strategic priorities, resource allocation, and more are enabled through financial transparency and keen financial insights. Further, this individual will develop a strong understanding of the underlying economics of OPH offerings and support efforts to identify operational efficiencies and develop optimal pricing models.
  • Key financial business partner for senior management team.
  • Serve as OPH primary point of contact with Shared Services Finance Team from affiliate organization.
  • Partner with the leadership teams to develop long range planning models that support the team's strategic vision
  • Provide analytical support for strategic financial decisions
  • Support forecasting and trend analysis.
  • Monitor performance indicators and highlight trends for senior management.
  • Anticipate, investigate, and explain material financial discrepancies in collaboration with Shared Services Finance Team.
  • Support the annual planning and budgeting process.
  • Support the Portfolio Management program
  • Assist in building cost models for the OPH portfolio to identify efficiency opportunities as well as appropriate pricing models.
  • Conduct financial analysis on the company, divisions, and on specific projects.
Qualifications/ Required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, technology, or other services industries

    Bachelor's degree

    MBA or Master's in related field preferred:
  • Proven ability to translate financial analysis to strategic implications.
  • Proven expertise in financial analysis of operations at various levels: enterprise-wide, product-level, service-level, and initiative-level.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance quantitative and qualitative factors in analyses.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Collaborative team player with strong learning agility and an ability to navigate ambiguity with speed and skill.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a wide range of stakeholders and secure buy-in.
  • Preferred
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Proven track record of developing pricing models.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital health and data at a life science, healthcare, and/or start-up company.
  • Proven track record of delivering valuable financial insights to support executive decision-making
  • Experience directly working with senior executive and board teams with objectivity and discretion.
