Job Purpose and Summary

This position will support the Project Management Office (PMO) in a variety of review and audit activities. Responsibilities will include the review of project records and their adherence to current PMO guidelines, collaborate with various IT stakeholders PMO quarterly documentation updates, and provide project record support for the Project Portfolio Management tool (PPM). The successful candidate will be required to become familiar with PMO Guidelines and Template documentation as well as the Service Now Portfolio Management tool (PPM).

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Review and update project documentation on a quarterly basis.

Review project records for adherence to PMO guidelines.

Develop and maintain reports within Service Now Project Portfolio Management tool (PPM) as required.

Identify areas of improvement in PMO documentation and process.

Analyze data to identify trends, patterns and insights.

Participates on project teams. Participates in all aspects of departmental project/program life cycles including planning, specification, design, installation, deployment, integration, operations, support, testing, policy development, and compliance reporting.

Responds to end user incidents, requests, and support calls. Provides technical assistance by troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving concerns.

Develops and maintains specifications, Business Process Procedures (BPPs), user manuals and other documentation.

Analyzes and documents changes to software, networks, and/or systems to support the organization s business processes and/or programs. Participates in the configuration and implementation of changes.

Participates and supports the preparation, development, execution and validation of test scripts and the testing process. Coordinates with other business units to accomplish successful implementation of changes.

Deploys and administers updates for basic servers, systems, equipment, networks, devices, and programs.

Creates or maintains security profiles and systems. Reviews access to sensitive application objects, transactions, and data. Works with the appropriate staff to ensure issues involving application security get resolved.

Creates reports and uses report variants to produce repeatable reports with specific user criteria.

Monitors various systems and programs to ensure proper operation and compliance. Identifies and resolves issues and security threats/incidents found.

Performs necessary departmental documentation, administrative tasks and internal outreach efforts as needed.

Gathers information from various departments and determines how to best support the needs of end users. Monitors business systems and business processes to identify, research and recommend opportunities for improvements.

Qualifications

Eight (8) years of experience in the information technology field;
OR
Four (4) years of experience in the information technology field AND a bachelor s degree in information technology or closely related field;
OR
One (1) year as an IT Technology Analyst I with the PTC.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.

Certain units may prefer specialized training and/or certifications.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Position demands include frequent speaking, writing, and reading reports. Position requires frequent work at a computer utilizing business programs and PTC specific operating systems. Occasionally works outside of normal business hours for assigned work assignments.

Office environment with low levels of noise, adequate lighting, and comfortable temperature. Field environment may include exposure to moderately adverse and undesirable conditions. Physical environment is generally safe, but safety equipment or precautions must be followed in field conditions.
