Job Details for Industrial Mechanic:

  • Pay rate: $28-35/HR
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift 8AM - 4:30PM
Job Responsibilities for Industrial Mechanic:
  • Moving and erecting all types of machine tools and equipment for new installations or plant layout changes
  • Maintenance and repair of milling machinery
  • Electrical maintenance from fault diagnosis to replacement of spindle and axis motors, power supplies, drive modules and cards, connectors, proximity switches, etc.
  • Repairing and troubleshooting: pneumatics, controllers, relays, motors, transformers, power supplies, etc.
  • Diagnosing and correcting mechanical, electrical and electronic troubles to involve repairs and replacement of monitors, controls, switches, devices, etc.
  • Replacing fitting bearings, bushings, o rings, gears, shafts, etc, using a broad range of hand and machine tools
Job Requirements for Industrial Mechanic:
  • Five years of experience with machine repair, preventative electrical and mechanical maintenances required
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background screening
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of State Indentured Apprenticeship or 2-year Technical College Degree in Machine Tool Repair or similar is preferred (but not required)
