Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a senior Systems Engineer, to join the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) team to support of a program for an Intelligence Community customer in Huntsville, AL. As a member of the MBSE team, the Systems Engineer will help establish the Department of Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF) models and viewpoints for the existing sensors in the Systems Architectural Model and enable the system engineering processes needed to drive program standardization. The Systems Engineer will mentor systems engineers across the program in engineering best practices, provide day-to-day administration, and ensures IC Data Compliance requirements are integrated into daily practices. The Systems Engineer uses the MBSE approach inside of DoDAF to capture, maintain, and ensure traceability for legacy requirements, interface control documents, and cyber boundaries, and capture legacy processes. The Systems Engineer leads standardization of MBSE practices across all tasks and establishes the System Architecture models to provide the insights for our customer leadership to drive decision making. Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
* TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly.
* Knowledge of MBSE and supporting tools/applications
* Knowledge of the Department of Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF)
* Candidate must be well organized, detail oriented, presentation skills, and be team oriented.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience working for an Intelligence Community organization.
* Familiarity with some of the following Tools: Cameo Enterprise Architect, Teamwork Cloud, Cameo Simulation Toolkit, RMSiS, CATIA, MathWorks, AFSIM, NGTS, Simulink, Enovia, STK, Jira, Confluence, MS Excel, UAF/SysML. * Experience working/communicating with government customers, providing status and reporting progress related to accomplishments, milestones, and schedules.
Target Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
