Clinical Director, Perinatal Services, Full Time, Days

Responsible for the overall administration, planning, direction, evaluation, and development of the assigned department(s).  Ensures quality patient care and evaluates outcomes of care.

Required Experience

Required:

• Current California RN License
• BLS from American Heart Association
• LA City Fire Card within 6 months of Employment 
• Bachelor of science in nursing or greater academic degree
• Three years progressive nursing management experience

 

Preferred: 

• Master's degree in nursing or related healthcare field 
• Nationally recognized certification
• Strong knowledge of California Children's Services (CCS) regulations 
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) 
• ACLS from American Heart Association (within 6 months of hire)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) Certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Experience in quality and regulatory affairs as it relates to the perinatal services domain
• Recent acute care experience in perinatal services (Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, & NICU)
