The Accounting Manager's primary roll is to lead the department's efficient implementation of NetSuite, review journal entries by staff, post journal entries related to liabilities and debt, prepare weekly job costing reports for the CFO, and be the lead for the annual audit, working closely with the CFO and independent auditors.


This role will be hybrid but a minimum of 3 days at our Corporate Headquarters in Azle, Texas. We offer flexibility of days and are a family friendly workplace but during peak times, such as the pre/post implementation of NetSuite as well as the audit period, this role may require more than 3 days in office.

Essential Functions

  • Complies with all of Pipe View America's policies and procedures.
  • Assists the CFO and direct point of contact for Financial and Regulatory Audits.
  • Cross-trains for all roles in the department as well as serve as back-up if a direct-report is absent.
  • Leads team through the implementation of NetSuite and the various modules and continues to assist the CFO and other department leaders in customized dashboards and reports.
  • Will have direct responsibilities for accounts payable, accrued expenses, prepaid assets and fixed assets.
  • Will take lead on various information requests from various department and divisional leaders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate or bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years using NetSuite preferred, will consider 2 to 4 years previous implementation a plus but not required.
  • Experience in all aspects of an accounting department.
  • Proficiency with software such as QuickBooks is preferred (our current accounting system).
  • High level of proficiency using MS Excel and the MS Office suite is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is required.
  • Highly organized and ability to prioritize multiple tasks is required.
  • Ability to analyze data for accuracy and reasonableness is required.
  • Detail oriented skill set is required.

  • Must be able to fluently speak, write and read in English.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Pipe View America has a no tolerance for drug use policy.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role requires the individual to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately. This role requires the individual to make substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers often. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and/or extensive reading.


POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full time status. Employees need to be able to work extended hours due to business needs.

This role does not require travel.
