We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill a key position in our Financial Systems department for a term of approximately 12 months. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Systems, you will lead day-to-day work within our ERP systems, as well as assist with our ERP Implementation Project. This is a deadline driven role that interfaces with many parts of our business. In this fast-paced environment, you will put your advanced Excel skills to the test while leveraging your organizational acumen, agility, and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be eligible for fixed-term company benefits from the first day of employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review work of junior staff members, including reconciliations and other tasks.
  • Lead the support function for ERP systems, Master Data, and Financial Approval Authority.
  • Seek opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Execute ERP Implementation Project tasks including:
    • ERP testing for suppliers and joint ventures with detailed support and defect tracking and other project related tasks.
    • Preparing and reviewing complex data validations and the manipulation of large amounts of data.
    • Developing ERP training materials and providing training and support to end-users.
    • Developing an ERP cutover plan and future state processes with the project team.
    • Performing Master Data clean-up activities.
    • Validating integrated data between systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • 8+ years relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of SOX controls and other audit requirements.
  • Proven experience in ERP project implementation(s).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Oracle EBS/Fusion a plus.
  • Cleared criminal history (background), education, and satisfactory reference checks. #Plains
