- Nature and Scope
- The Physical Therapist (PT) will provide/coordinate services for our acute/swing bed patients in the hospital setting as well as in our outpatient settings.
- The PT needs ability to modify and/or adapt treatment techniques to improve outcomes.
- Provision of assessment and evidence-based treatments.
- Skills in the wide range of basic evaluation instruments.
- Participation in PI/QA programs.
- Participation in departmental meetings.
- Supervision of PTA/aid, as needed.
- Participation in promoting occupational therapy to the hospital, community, local and outside referrals/providers.
Job Details
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy required.
- A master degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
- Passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE).
- Compliant with state regulatory requirements.
- Must hold valid license from Physical Therapy Board of California.
