Job Summary:
Provides screening, brief interventions, facilitation of treatment referrals, school consultation and necessary referrals to community supports as needed to students identified by their school as needing services
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Provides clinical services both in person and virtually to students as dispatched to a school within the HUB vicinage.
- Clinical services will include trauma-informed screening, brief interventions, facilitation of treatment referrals, school consultation and making necessary referrals to community supports as needed/identified.
- Provides consultation to school staff and parents on various topics including suicide, eating disorders, school refusal, etc.
- Completes all paperwork and data entry within the prescribed time period.
- Assists with prevention programming as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: MSW, MA, MS, PhD
- Licensure: LCSW / LPC
- Experience: Three years of relevant experience providing therapy to children.
- Other: Valid NJDL, safe driving record and vehicle availability required per DCF.
- Fingerprinting per DCF regulations.
Competencies:
- Computer proficiency, familiarity with Excel, Word, professional electronic record keeping portals.
- Maintains effective communication skills, both written and verbal using a trauma-informed approach.
- Excellent customer services skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to follow policies and procedures as outlined in the HR Manual and Employee Handbook.
- Demonstrates familiarity with organizational policy and procedure.
