Position Overview:

  • VP Sales for PWI will have Sales management responsibility for building the entire portfolio of PWI products within a specific multi-state geographic area.
  • Reports to the Chief Sales Officer and has both direct and in-direct reporting relationships that may include: Region Managers, State Managers and Market Managers.
  • This role requires at least 50% of travel.
  • This sales leader will focus on improving performance through:

- Training, developing, recruiting and inspiring a high performing PWI sales team.

- Driving distributor and PWI sales team performance .

- Executing against new distribution and promotional programs within National Account universe.

- Effectively utilize cross-functional resources (Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain).

- Optimizing promotional budgets and brand investments.



Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Growth...Leverage in-market experience and perspective to be a thought-leader int eh development of PWI portfolio (brand, product, positioning, price, promotion) in conjunction with the Chief Sales Officer.
  • Distributor Management... Deliver business goals/objectives through best-in-class standards and exceptional state and regional relationships. Establish effective and efficient ways of working, to include pricing and programming, through clear and timely communication and implementation of performance metrics.
  • National and Regional Accounts ... execute distribution and promotional programs in Retail and On-Premise customers.
  • People Development...enhance current team's selling capabilities (e.g. business planning and execution, conceptual selling, distributor management, analytical skills). Recruit and retain top performers while nurturing a collaborative and proactive culture, provide direct support and coaching while holding individuals accountable for delivery of their respective plans.
  • Analytics and Business Intelligence...with internal support, conduct business performance and competitive analyses to ensure critical decisions are well-informed. Track and review results, measure versus plan, and implement necessary changes. Summarize the analysis to internal and external stakeholders.


Performance Measures:

  • Volume (shipments, depletions), Net Revenue, Share growth, Operating Expense budgets
  • Execution of national customer and distributor program goals
  • Annual distribution targets in on-premise and retail channels
  • Recruiting and building a strong ream, contributing to a motivated Sales culture
  • Strong 360 feedback (distributors, accounts, cross-functional partners, team members)
Requirements:

Preferred Location:

  • Major market within geographical area (Eastern US States) with access to major airport (e.g. Jacksonville, FL)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience, preferably within the industry
  • Intermediate to Advanced Experience with relevant sales technology





Compensation details: 150000-192000 Yearly Salary
