environmental management services to reduce the Nation’s environmental
liabilities and infrastructure engineering services in support of our Nation’s

infrastructure, and nuclear defense and nonproliferation projects. Job Description Provide Department of Energy procurement assistance to PPPO staff for
Environmental Management programs; support compliance to DOE Acquisition
Regulations (FAR/DEAR) by assisting Procurement Officials and Contracting
Officers with analytical and administration tasks including tracking/analyzing DOE
orders and departmental directive changes that affect current contracts; advise
Contracting Officers of directive status and technical updates to meet regulatory
requirements; suspense tracking of deliverables and proposal coordination data;
draft contracting request for information and authorization letters; assist with
contract modification change development and compile data reports to support
negotiations; update and maintain contract files in procurement system Strategic
Integrated Procurement Enterprise System (STRIPES); update and maintain
company Safeguards and Security Training Plan for Contractor Security
Personnel document annually and track all Safeguards and Security training to
maintain regulatory compliance. ,Draft formal correspondence to DOE
Perform financial analyst
Maintain action list and take meeting minutes Job Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business from an accredited university or 15 years
of relevant experience.
10 years’ experience in federal contracting or equivalent.
Extensive Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations and
procedures (e.g., FAR, DEAR) governing contracting and government
procurements.
Experience in supporting the Federal Government with procurements of
equipment and materials to support mission needs.
Ability to manage and lead staff in all contracting functions.
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of contracting systems (e.g., STRIPES)
Government acquisitions coursework and certifications also preferred
Experience in audit resolution
DOE experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business from an accredited university or ten
years of relevant experience
Five years’ experience in federal contracting or equivalent
Knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations and procedures (e.g.,
FAR, DEAR) governing contracting
Experience in supporting D&D, D&R, S&M, Infrastructure and operations
activities
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Must have strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in the production of deliverables and in
interactions with fellow employees and client personnel Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of contracting systems (e.g., STRIPES)
Government acquisitions coursework and certifications also preferred
Experience in audit resolution
