CDL Class A or B Box Truck Driver

We are urgently hiring experienced CDL Class A or B Drivers for a regional pet food delivery route. Freight includes dry, canned, frozen, and bagged pet food products. Drivers will make 10-15 stops per day, unload freight using a pallet jack and lift gate, and break down pallets for customer deliveries.  This is a touch-freight position requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.  Please apply.  #pdhouston

• Daytime routes
• Average 50 hours per week

Position Details

• Regional routes
• 10-15 stops per day
• Out of town 2-3 nights per week
• Company-paid hotel stays
• 28-Foot Box Truck (50,000-54,000 GVW)
• Automated Manual Transmission (Automatic-style operation with 12-speed heavy-duty transmission)

Job Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B License
• Minimum 3 years of CDL Class A or B driving experience
• Clean MVR required
• Clean background check required (company background screening conducted)
• Minimum age of 25 years
• Route delivery experience required
• Experience operating pallet jacks and lift gates
• Ability to safely back and maneuver commercial vehicles in tight spaces
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly without restrictions
