What you will do day-to-day with your colleagues: We work with multiple versions of Oracle, PostgesSQL, SQL Server and MySQL in support of our business units. Mostly focused on database administration and management but also help with design and implementations.
Plan, coordinate and administer matters related to PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and SQL Server databases including definition, structure, documentation, upgrades, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection
Demonstrate your experience working with Data Center migration to multiple cloud provide
Establish and maintain security integrity controls
Translate logical to physical design, develop comprehensive DB architectures, implementation and upgrade plans and assist in definition of database standards, policies, and procedures.
Create and manage large scale, highly available production database environments
Data loading, security, capacity planning and backup and recovery
Support production databases in a high quality and dynamic environment
Responsible for solving SQL performance related issues and optimizing poorly performing queries and stored procedures
Strong Scripting- Shell, Ruby, Perl, Bash, Puppet, Salt, Python
Responsible for 24x7 production operations (incident break/fix, change, service requests, management) and On-Call pager rotation Minimum Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active secret level security clearance or able to obtain within expected timeframes
Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field or 4 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 8 years of experience with database administration in a production environment.
3 years of development experience with data management systems.
2 years of experience with AWS, Azure, Google, or relevant cloud provide. This can include public or private clouds.
Experience working in a DevOps model and has agile project management experience
