Requisition #: 2024.34.1.2.03.40 Description: As part of a larger team and also working in small project teams, design, create, maintain, and manage Command databases, Extract Transform Load (ETL) solutions, indexes, T-SQL and data manipulation scripts, stored procedures, tables and views, functions, reports, and forms. Apply DoD data standards to all software applications and database data elements, ensuring logical data models are fully attributed and normalized data. Provide technical support for database creation, modification, testing, administration, monitoring, tuning, backup, and recovery. Design and create SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages. Provide SQL Server reporting Services (SSRS) for the delivery of information. Monitor and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance. Implement data management standards, requirements, and specifications. Implement data mining and data warehousing applications. Software development projects employ an Agile methodology and Scrum framework. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, and six (6) years industry experience; OR, Associate's Degree and eight (8) years of experience; OR Ten (10) years of experience may be substituted for formal degree. General Experience. At least ten (10) years documented experience in the following: • Knowledge of database management systems, query languages, table relationships, and views; • Knowledge in data analysis for the purpose of normalization, ETL, and use in applications and relation to business rules; • Knowledge of data mining and data warehousing principles; • Skill in database creation and development in Microsoft SQL Server to include SSIS, T-SQL, SQL agent jobs, and SQL Reports; • Skill in the development of ETL and data clean-up processes; • Skill in conducting queries and developing algorithms to analyze data structures; • Skill in optimizing database performance; • Ability to structure and manage databases, advanced techniques to create stored procedures, automated applications, and advanced data modeling concepts; • Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. CSWF Certifications: IAT Level II CompTIA Security+ CE and Computing Environment certification or formal training required. Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
