Position Title: Assembly – Entry Level
Days: Monday - Friday, Some Saturdays
1st shift hours are 5:15am – 1:45pm; pay rate is $19.50/hr
2nd shift hours are 1:15pm – 9:45pm; pay rate is $20.50/hr
3rd shift hours are 9:15pm – 5:45am; pay rate is $21.70/hr

Assembly Responsibilities:
- Perform area clearance and verification of Material Equipment and Documentation (MED’s) and executes successive checks on product
- Maintain accountability for product and process quality levels and required documentation
- Comply with various governmental regulatory agency guidelines (ISO, OSHA, GMPs, etc.) on the manufacturing floor
- Participate in required quality, process, team and safety training
- Demonstrate basic understanding of manufacturing operating procedures and quality systems required to assemble, bond, or weld subassemblies or assemblies together
- Learn and apply proper use and techniques for pressure gauges, calipers, flow meters, micrometers, and indicator dials
- Build multiple products and assemblies of sizes
- Handle, collect, label and/or transfer hazardous chemical waste following established procedures and guidelines
- Manage and distribute clean room garments
- Identify materials within the facility and control their physical location
- Perform physical transport, lifting, order pulling or picking, stocking, and receipt and delivery of materials to and from established areas within the cleanroom
- Move materials around the plant by manual physical transport requiring lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Perform data entry transactions within the relevant computer systems to ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Perform inventory counts and assist in the root cause investigation of discrepancies
- Coordinate recycling program including prescribed sorting, and coordination with supplier for returns
Requirements for Assembly:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous assembly experience helpful
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge and use of relevant computer software
- Able to read and comprehend manufacturing procedures written in English including assembly prints and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to adapt to changing priorities
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Good manual dexterity and visual acuity including ability to distinguish colors
- Able to perform repetitive motions
- Able to work in high places using ladders or lifts
