RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Nursing Manager (RN), your primary responsibility is assisting and supporting our Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in assessing resident care needs.
Supervise nursing staff and nursing related duties during your shift.
Oversee the quality of care being provided to the residents.
Ensure all admission, transfer and discharge of residents are completed timely, efficiently, and accurately.
Participate in the review of Quality Indicator reports and implementation of corrective actions to improve resident care.
Assist with Infection Control Program by reviewing infection control reports from charge nurses, analyzing data, and making any needed suggestions or revisions to care plans with the Infection Control team.
Participate in the interviews, hiring, training, and supervision of the nurse aide team.
Make regular nursing rounds to evaluate resident care and handle routine nursing matters.
Assist in assessing the physical, mental, and psychological status of all residents.
Ensure accurate documentation during your shift.
Competently perform nursing skills.
Administer medication and medical treatment according to patient plan and company policy.
Complete accurate charting, reporting, and progress notes.
Provide exceptional patient care to the residents.
Ensure accurate documentation throughout your shift.

REQUIREMENTS:

Possess an active and good-standing RN License
Some supervisory experience preferred but not required
Long term care experience preferred but not required
