Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Little Rock, AR (School District)
Employment Type: Full-Time, School-Year Hours (up to 35 hours/week)
We’re looking for experienced, compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians to join our team in supporting students across school sites in the Little Rock area. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in implementing behavior intervention plans, thrives in a school setting, and is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of students with diverse behavioral needs.
Duties

Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA.

Conduct one-on-one and group sessions with students.

Collect and record data on student behaviors and progress.

Assist in developing behavior management strategies and reinforcement plans.

Communicate progress and concerns with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

Maintain accurate documentation.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Support crisis intervention strategies when necessary.
Requirements
-
Current RBT certification.
-
At least 3 years of experience providing similar services in school settings.

Experience working with students with diverse needs and behavioral challenges.

Knowledge of ABA principles.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and respond professionally in high-stress situations.

Physical ability to walk/run quickly, lift 50 lbs, and remain onsite and active throughout the school day.
Work Environment
-
School-based: classrooms, therapy rooms, and other educational settings.

May be assigned to more than one school (no more than two per day).
- Hours align with the school day (up to 35 hours/week); additional hours may be approved in advance.
- No work required on district holidays or when students are not in school.
