About the Role:
RCM Healthcare is hiring Paraeducators to support students with moderate to severe disabilities in Carlsbad Unified. Positions may be 1:1 or general classroom coverage. A large part of this role is providing hands-on support with toileting and daily care, along with assisting students academically and behaviorally. Students may range in age from preschool through high school.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support with toileting, diapering, feeding, and mobility throughout the school day.

• Assist students with academic work, communication, and social skills.

• Implement behavioral strategies under teacher and specialist direction.

• Ensure student safety in the classroom, on campus, and during transitions.

• Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).

• Experience supporting students with disabilities preferred.

• Must be comfortable with toileting and personal care support.

• Reliable, patient, and able to work collaboratively with school staff.

Schedule & Compensation:

• School-based hours: Monday–Friday, ~7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (exact hours TBD based on specific school site)

• Compensation: $20–$25/hour, depending on experience.
