Physical Therapist (PT)
Hourly Rate: $60-65.00 per hour
Location: South Holland, IL; Onsite – School Setting
 

Position Summary

RCM Healthcare is hiring a full-time, onsite Physical Therapist to support students with our public school district partners for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on helping students achieve their developmental and educational goals by evaluating their needs and providing tailored interventions to support their individual goals. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities Schedule / Shift

    • Shift details: School Day Schedule
    • Hours per week: 32-35
    • Contract length: School Year

Key Duties

  • Evaluate students' gross motor function and mobility needs.
  • Create and execute individualized interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of services and progress.
  • Suggest adaptive equipment and strategies for student access.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Essential Qualities
  • Maintains and illustrates high standards of honesty, integrity, and appropriate confidentiality in interactions with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians
  • Appreciation for the school’s mission, in particular its inclusive learning environment and commitment to social justice
  • A desire and eagerness to make a difference in the school--to contribute time and talent outside of therapy sessions to the growth of students and to the broader work and life of the school
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to collaborate as a part of a team.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a school-based setting
 

Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid IL State PT License
