Job Title: Registered Nurse Instructor (Bilingual Mandarin/Cantonese)
Salary Range: Up to $115,000 per year
Location: Brooklyn / Queens, NY - Onsite with Flushing, NY office
Position Summary
A leading home healthcare organization is seeking a Bilingual Registered Nurse Instructor to support its Home Health Aide (HHA) training and education programs. This position is responsible for teaching HHA certification courses, coordinating staff education initiatives, and developing educational materials that support clinical excellence and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have home care experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for education and professional development.
Responsibilities
• Schedule / Shift
- Monday – Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- 38.75 hours per week
- Teach and facilitate New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification Programs.
- Coordinate and conduct educational and training programs for staff.
- Develop, update, and distribute educational and training materials.
- Ensure training programs meet applicable regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Travel to various NYC office locations as needed and perform additional duties in support of staff development initiatives.
• Education
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Required: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) or home care setting.
- Bilingual in Mandarin and Cantonese.
- Teaching, training, or staff education experience preferred.
- Strong presentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
