Summary:

The EDI Account Specialist plays a vital role in our operations, overseeing Order Entry, Exports, and EDI processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage client portfolio, including Sales Order Entry and invoicing.

  • Handle email correspondence and incoming calls professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer instructions and invoicing details.
  • Develop and implement best practices for handling complex orders.
  • Coordinate shipping processes and maintain accurate logs.
  • Set up new customers, items, and locations within the EDI system.
  • Address unique EDI matters and assist with filing duties.
  • Keep managers informed of workload changes and comply with GMPS and Food Safety guidelines.



Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of logistics experience or 1-2 years in administrative assistant roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, manufacturing software, and spreadsheets.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting for extended periods, occasional walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb stairs to access the office located on the 2nd floor.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise level.
