Maintenance Technician - EPA Universal Certification

Remedy Staffing is Hiring an Experienced Maintenance Technician for a Client in Pleasant Hill, IA!

Starting Pay: $30.00/ Hour + DOE

Hours: 6:00/7:00am - 2:30/3:30pm (Monday-Friday)
*On call every 5th weekend and 1 holiday per year.

Maintenance Technician Duties:

• Troubleshoot & repair all equipment: fill machines, labelers, cappers, dry heat ovens, turntables, coolers, tanks, air handlers, chiller pumps, air compressors and more
• Perform preventative maintenance on all machines and maintain proper documentation
• Install & repair electrical equipment including conduit, controls, wiring, motors & switches
• Operates plant cooling and heating systems
• Basic stainless-steel welding.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years industrial mechanic experience
• Has or has the ability to obtain an EPA Universal Certification
• Ability to obtain Engineering License within a year of employment
• Basic HVAC, specifically refrigeration, knowledge and experience
• Basic Boiler understanding or ability to learn (Perform boiler cleanouts)
• Experience with a water filtration system or ability to learn
• Basic MS Office Suite skills
