Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team in Athens, TX. This is not a facilities maintenance position. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment in a production environment.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment and production systems.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, plumbing, and general maintenance duties related to manufacturing operations.
- Diagnose equipment failures and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Use precision measuring tools and electrical testing equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform welding, fabrication, machining, and repair work as needed.
- Complete maintenance documentation, logs, and work orders.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures while working on equipment and systems.

- Machinist tools
- Meters, gauges, and precision measuring instruments
- Electrical test equipment
- Milling machines, grinders, and lathes
- Welding equipment and burning torches
- Equipment used for monitoring safety and maintenance systems
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working on industrial machinery and production equipment
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and industrial maintenance equipment
- Knowledge of lubricants, chemicals, metals, cleaning agents, and maintenance materials
Preferred:
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program in industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of work experience, on-the-job training, and technical education will be considered
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at heights of 10+ feet using ladders and manlifts
- Perform heavy manual labor requiring manual dexterity
- Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds over distances greater than 20 feet
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment and machinery
