Order Selector - All Shifts

Location: Athens, TX
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift

Job Overview

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Order Selectors to join our team in Athens, TX. This position plays a critical role in warehouse operations by supporting inventory handling, order preparation, shipping, and receiving activities. Candidates with forklift experience or previous order selecting experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise to pallets, conveyors, shelving, staging areas, and trucks.
• Count and verify incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices, packing slips, and orders.
• Read production schedules, shipping orders, and work orders to determine materials and products needed.
• Locate, pull, prepare, and label products for shipment.
• Ensure accuracy of all orders before shipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, forklift, or order selecting experience preferred.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift up to 40 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
