Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist with and spearhead development and implementation of appropriate driver onboarding procedures, and training for our driving partners.
  • Work with all levels of management from various functional departments (Operations, HR, Maintenance, Claims) to ensure that all needs are addressed properly across all departmental boundaries.
  • Work with Vendors to provide the company with the best possible supply and service in areas such as safety equipment, medical provider service quality, general operating services/supplies, technology implementations and other professional services.
  • Work with Operations Management and other Personnel to develop strategies for efficient and effective onboarding.
  • Ensure all safety instructor positions are adequately staffed, trained, and supported to accomplish driver onboarding, qualification and training processes.
  • Complete special projects and annual objectives as assigned - Examples include end of year reporting, projects to attain yearly goals, developing training materials, etc.
  • Maintain training records and onboarding files to ensure applicants meet DOT regulatory compliance. Monitor and ensure accuracy of Driver Qualification records. This includes confirming proper compliance with the FMCSR’s, MVR monitoring, and other records as needed. Recognize driver qualification/disqualification issues and make hiring decisions based on driver’s ability/inability to meet minimums.
  • Maintains onboarding facilities, inventory of products, and services required for maintaining a consistent and organized facility
  • Other duties as assigned.
