Agile Project Manager Overview:
Vaultes is a forward leaning cybersecurity and digital services company solving complex problems within the Federal government. As the Agile Project Manager, you will help oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects utilizing the Scrum or Kanban framework. In this role, you are an advocate for Agile, committed to open communication, and transparency in empowering high performing teams. You will facilitate and provide direction for the project team, while acting as the client’s advocate to ensure the goals and objectives of the project are achieved. You are an excellent communicator and have experience acting as a liaison with a variety of stakeholders including product owners, senior leadership, developers, and security engineers.
Location: Onsite in Richmond, Virginia metro area (Fort Gregg-Adams) with potential telework 1-2 days per week. Responsibilities: • Manage projects for a federal client by balancing scope, schedule, cost, and quality
• Coach the team and stakeholders on Agile best practices to drive delivery
• Facilitate and schedule standups, meetings, interviews, and briefings
• Maintain a positive team environment while practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, team accountability, and ensuring the work is visible (Jira, Confluence)
• Remove impediments and coach the team on removing impediments • Support the client and provide education where needed
• Supervise staff in day-to-day activities including planning, organizing work, and adjusting workloads
• Approve staff leave and coordinate staff scheduling
• Address client’s concerns on issues of staff communication, performance, and conduct
• Prepare and present accurate and timely project reports
• Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree • Active Secret Clearance
• Active PMP certification
• 5+ Years Experience as a Project Manager in Web Development or related area
• Previous federal project/program management in an Agile environment
• Demonstrated history of faciliting meetings, reviews, and retrospectives
• Excellent oral and written communications skills with proven track record interfacing with partners, clients, and other stakeholders
• Highly organized and skilled at driving initiatives through to completion • Strong experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.), or other project management tool

Corp-to-Corp and 1099 ineligible.
