The successful candidate can look forward to a comprehensive benefits package and flexible work schedule as this role is remote, with some on-site time periodically required in St. Paul, MN.About the Role:As an AWS Architect, you'll work with a diverse team of technologists to design, develop and optimize innovative cloud solutions in a AWS environment. You'll be responsible for designing technologically advanced and scalable systems that are secure, efficient, and tailored to support organizational objectives.Responsibilities:Design and implement highly scalable solutions on AWSLead the integration of AWS architecture services into the company's infrastructureBuild new API integrations and ensure the reliability and performance of systemsDeliver reports on security vulnerabilities, system updates, and audit mitigation progressWork collaboratively with other technology professionals, enhancing data workflows and supporting business intelligenceMaintain ongoing communication with internal customers, partners, and vendors to ensure AWS infrastructure consistently meets company needs and expectationsProvide technical leadership, counsel, and training to junior team members to increase overall team competency in cloud technologies and best practices.Evaluate and propose innovative new cloud technologies or tools that can enhance or improve the current systems, and lead the execution of implementation of these technologies.RequirementsQualifications:3+ years’ experience designing secure, scalable, and cost-effective big data architecture5+ years’ experience in software development, data engineering, or data analyticsFamiliarity with AWS cloud platform, lambda, and SQL programming languagesExpertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolsWorking knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth2 authorization, and security best practices for API gatewaysAdvanced technical certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, etc.) are a plusBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Big Data, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent professional experienceJob typePerm
