DescriptionWe are in search of an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team located in PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island. This role is primarily involved in the legal industry and will focus on tasks such as performing comprehensive legal research, drafting legal documentation, and managing complex litigation cases.Responsibilities:• Conduct detailed and comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and development• Draft research and fact memos to communicate findings and support legal arguments• Prepare and draft pleadings and motions to be filed in court• Manage written discovery processes and gather necessary information for case development• Take and defend depositions, ensuring all relevant facts and information are accurately represented• Present arguments at court hearings, representing the interests of the client effectively• Manage document collection, production, and review in complex litigation cases• Utilize skills in Civil Litigation, Litigation - Defense, Draft Motions, and Complex Business Litigation to effectively perform duties• Analyze legal issues and develop strategies for case resolution• Communicate legal advice and interpretations to clients and team members clearly and concisely.Requirements• Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Must be admitted to the RI State Bar and in good standing. • Must have a minimum of five years of experience in civil litigation. • Proven experience in litigation defense is required. • Must be proficient in drafting motions for various cases. • Experience in complex business litigation is essential. • Should possess excellent negotiation and communication skills. • Should be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Should demonstrate high ethical standards and detail oriented integrity. • Proficiency in legal research software and platforms is required. • Must be detail-oriented and organized, with a keen eye for accuracy. *Please Note This is an IN OFFICE ROLE with some flexibility of.Job typePerm
