Requirement Description ROGERCO, Inc. delivers advanced technology, cybersecurity, communications advisory, and multi-media services and is looking for an energetic HR professional to join our team with the U.S. Navy. This Washington, DC-based position will manage data, analyze and develop metrics, and provide high level administrative support as needed. Responsibilities:
This position supports the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Deputy Commander, Total Force/Corporate Operations (SEA 10). NAVSEA is the Department of Navy’s (DON’s) central activity for designing, engineering, integrating, building, and procuring U.S. Naval ships, shipboard weapons, and combat systems. NAVSEA's responsibilities also include the maintenance, repair, modernization, and conversion of in-service ships and their weapons and combat systems.
The candidate will provide training and development support to SEA 10D, Enterprise Civilian Human Resources. The Office of the Director, Civilian Human Resources (DCHR) serves as the principal HR advisor and final technical authority to COMNAVSEA and within the command on enterprise civilian human resources issues. Offices within the DCHR include: Staffing Classification & Compensation, Enterprise Recruiting and Veterans & Wounded Warrior Programs, Command Awards Program and Injury Compensation Management, Enterprise Talent Management, Workforce/Leadership Development, and Enterprise Human Resources Data Analytics.
The candidate will provide HR technical support for all of the programs that fall under the purview of the Enterprise Workforce Development Office. Including programs such as: Next Generation program, Journey Level Leadership program, Commander's Executive Fellows Program, advanced leadership programs, iNAVSEA SharePoint site, and any succeeding collaboration site/tool maintenance and support, mentoring, NAVSEA University, Workforce Development modules as they pertain to Total Workforce Management System, mandatory training, rotational assignments, and metrics/data calls. Generation of policy and guidance requires comprehensive understanding of the Navy Correspondence Manual. Duties and responsibilities include:
• Plan programs designed to develop employees and manager learning in the organization.
• Administer programs designed to develop employees and manager learning in the organization.
• Evaluate programs designed to develop employees and manager learning in the organization.
• Track and monitor course completion. • Assist with rotational assignments.
• Provide program/project planning and execution support, as assigned.
• Provide metrics and status reporting.
• Provide team management assistance.
• Schedule meetings with stakeholders across the Enterprise.
• Attend meetings, as required, and generate minutes, agendas, or similar meeting support.
• Coordinate packages, briefing material, and make copies.
• Perform other high and low-level administrative tasks and duties, as assigned.
• Develop comprehensive project plans/POA&Ms and facilitate the completion of taskers.
• Assist in managing and reporting status and implementation to NAVSEA leadership.
• Maintain knowledge management, best practices, and obstacles log to assist with information retention and tool updates. Qualifications: • Must be a US Citizen with a Secret Security Clearance
• Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience collecting, analyzing, and professionally presenting data and trends preferred.
• 5 years of experience collecting, analyzing, and professionally presenting data and trends preferred.
• Experience in managing small group data gathering sessions to achieve desired outcomes preferred.
• Experience in developing PowerPoint briefings and communicating with a wide variety of audiences at all levels preferred.
• A team-oriented outlook with outstanding customer service experience.
• Strong analytical skills along with discretion in performing specified work requirements. • Outstanding written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively, to build and sustain working relationships with a vast team of diverse professionals.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications to include MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently and with sufficient knowledge, present projects to senior management.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment accepting emergent tasks with little to no supervision and/or direction.
